A day in puerto viejo- Tennessee style

Up in the morning and off we go

Breakfast? Coconut and a cup of joe

At a breakfast diner-couldn’t get any finer

Then it’s down to the streets below. Fresh fruits and hippies doing their thing. Not bothering anyone with some guitar and sing.

The beach? Kinda rocky

Little brother-little cocky

This lady balanced food while she went for a…..um, walkie

So we checked out rocking j’s were its $6 bucks a night

Gonna give it a try and if things work out right

We’ll save us some dough

For the important things, you know?

But if something goes wrong and you next hear we died

Pura vida baby! It’s been a hell of a ride…..

Well as you could guess, I'm from Milwaukee. Ok, I'm from Missouri, but I lived in Tennessee when I started this blog. I moved here after a 4 year stint in the Marines. Tennessee has not been great to me-let me rephrase that- Tennessee has kicked my ass. So here I am. 38 and still looking for where I'm going in my life. So follow along as I look for answers both here and there....

  1. Looks interesting! Rockin J’s huh? Remember what I said about the result of people slipping you drugs and waking up with a man next to you! Be safe, Miss you and so glad you guys are having some adventure! That lady with that ginormous storage container full of food on her head is impressive! I could carry a lot more if I were able to learn that skill!

  2. For 210 Henry should have been your freakin tour guide for your entire trip! But hey as long as u got beer money your good! Eno hammock and beer don’t get much better than that! Love the pics
